Hi,
Liked your design (which also has meaning).

My Idea:
I would use some shapes (square/circle/rectangle/Triangle /other etc.) with different colors (light and transparent like) (as in your last design "..the closing or opening of a shutter") to resemble it to the 'Eye Testing Chart"

I like the third on. The blue seems clean and sterile in a way you want your eyedoctor to be :)

Clean and concise, I like them. Great type treatment. The only thing that strikes me is the 1st and 4th use a similar color set to Google Chrome and Microsoft. It doesn't jump out but when I saw it the first thing I thought was that looks like the Chrome color set and similar since it's circular. Either way they look awesome, just my 2cents :)
